The Thai Wire Products Company Limited was established on 10 May 1985 to manufacture Prestressed Concrete Wire or P.C. Wire. The initial registered capital of 1 million baht was soon increased to 25 million baht. The company set up a plant in the Nananakorn Industrial Estate, Pathumthani.

The company started operations on 2 July 1986.

1986

Paid-up capital was increased to 40 million baht to expand manufacturing capacity.

1988

The company was listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand and paid-up capital was increased to 50 million baht in order to finance improvement of the production system and increasing capacity.

1989

Paid-up capital was increased to 100 million baht to expand the production capacity and introduce a new product, Seven-Wire Prestressed Concrete Strand(P.C. Strand).

1990

Paid-up capital was increased to 220 million baht so as to invest in the second plant which was built in the Rojana Industrial Park in Ayutthaya Province to manufacture the P.C. Strand.

1992

On 25 April 1994, the company was transform into a public company limited. On 21 September 1994, the company was promoted by the Board of investment to carry out a project to establish a new factory in the Map Ta Phud Industrial Estate.

1994

The new factory granted by the Board of investment was constructed in the Map Ta Phud Industrial Estate, Rayong Province, to expand manufacturing capacity and to apply new technology so as to improve manufacturing efficiency as well as product quality. A new product, the Galvanized Steel Wire and Strand , was introduced. In additional, the entire manufacturing base was moved to the new factory.

1996

Thai Wire Products Public Company Limited manufactures and sells prestressed concrete wire. The main products include Prestressed Concrete Single Wire (PCW) , Seven-Wire Prestressed Concrete Strand (PCS), Galvanized Steel Wire and Strand (GIW & GIS), Hard Drawn Wire and Low Carbon Steel Wire. The company’s plant located at Map Ta Phud Industrial Estate, Rayong.
